Deputy Residential Service Manager

Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join

Our team at The Green, this specialist residential service in Sutton 

With learning disabilities, mental health needs and challenging behaviours

Aged 18 and over

All male service

This specialist residential service comprises 6 bedrooms and 2 self contained flats, and supports gentlemen with learning disabilities, mental health needs and challenging behaviours.

Vacancy Details

Your duties will include supporting the Home Manager, and deputising in their absence, to undertake all aspects of managing the home, ensuring that high standards of care and support are maintained and adhering to all requirements and regulations (e.g. CQC).

You will also assist in developing staff rotas and managing the staff team.

An appropriate balance is needed between management and ‘hands-on’ work, meeting the needs of the service users living in the home.

Ideal Candidate

You will have considerable experience working with people with learning disabilities, at a minimum of lead/senior support worker level. 

You must be well organised, able to lead shifts, motivate teams and manage rotas.
