Lead Support Worker -

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated practice lead support worker to join the team at this service providing support for adults with learning disabilities and associated health needs.

Your role will be to lead and support staff so that the people we support lead a valued and fulfilling life, by embracing the Care Council Code of Professional Conduct and being accountable for your professional behaviour.
To maximise the potential opportunities for wellbeing and provide innovative ways to support people to achieve outcomes that are measurable and in line with their care and support plans, and support appropriate and agreed risk taking in order to achieve goals.
To mentor and coach support staff in the values of CMG and demonstrate at all time a professional and knowledgeable demeanour.
In the absence of the Manager, be able to maintain the service provision at a high functional level.

•Experience of working in care is essential, as is an NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
•GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English is also required.
•Basic computer knowledge of Word, Excel, email and internet is required.
•An understanding of HS requirements would be beneficial.
•Experience of delegating tasks and leading teams would also be of use.
